Biography

Prof. Dr. Răzvan Cherecheș is a leading public health expert, researcher, and educator specialising in health innovation, policy development, and data communication. He is the Director of HIVE – Health Innovation Center at Babeș-Bolyai University, where he drives cutting-edge research and solutions in healthcare transformation. As a Professor of Health Innovation at Babeș-Bolyai University, he has shaped public health strategies in Romania and internationally, including as a member of the Advisory Board for Public Health and Healthcare Management at the Romanian Ministry of Health and as an expert evaluator for the European Commission. He has led multiple high-impact European Commission and NIH-funded projects in eHealth, digital health, and public health workforce development. He is also the speakers' coach at TEDxCluj — making him the programme's foremost voice on turning clinical evidence into compelling narrative.
