Dr. Ștefan Dumitrache-Rujinski, MD, PhD, FCCP, is a highly skilled and experienced physician in pulmonary diseases, with expertise in respiratory failure, sleep apnea, and obesity hypoventilation syndrome. He is a core member of the medical team at the Marius Nasta Institute of Pneumophtisiology in Bucharest — Romania's national reference centre for respiratory medicine. He holds an academic position as Lecturer at the Chair of Pneumophtisiology at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, where he contributes to postgraduate medical education. His clinical practice and teaching focus on non-invasive ventilation in both acute and chronic settings, with particular expertise in the management of COPD patients requiring ventilatory support.
