Biography
Dr. Alexandra-Simona Zamfir is a pulmonologist at the Regional Institute of Oncology Iași and Assistant Professor of Pulmonology at UMF “Grigore T. Popa” Iași. Her work focuses on interventional pulmonology, lung cancer, interstitial lung diseases, and pulmonary complications of oncologic therapies. Trained in bronchoscopy in Florence and certified nationally in bronchoscopy, she combines clinical care, academic teaching, and research, with a growing interest in AI applications in pulmonary imaging and diagnostics.
