Biography

Associate Professor and pulmonologist at the Department of Pneumology, Medical University of Łódź. Poland's leading researcher in interstitial lung abnormalities (ILA) — incidental CT findings now recognised as clinically significant precursors or early manifestations of ILD. Also a co-author of the Polish Respiratory Society guidelines on IPF (2020) and progressive fibrosing ILDs, and contributor to multiple multicentre Polish studies on antifibrotic therapy outcomes. His most recent publication (2024, Frontiers in Pharmacology) addressed the emerging role of antifibrotic agents in fibrotic sarcoidosis.
