Dr Raluca Bercea

Biography

Dr. Raluca Bercea is a seasoned pulmonologist and internal medicine specialist with advanced expertise in sleep medicine, non-invasive ventilation, and respiratory physiology. She is currently Chief of the Pneumology Department at Ploiești County Emergency Hospital and also serves as Associate Lecturer at the Faculty of Midwifery and Nursing, Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest. With over a decade of clinical experience including practice in Norway and France, Dr. Bercea brings a global perspective to respiratory care. She holds competencies in Sleep Medicine (Levels I and II) and Non-Invasive Ventilation, and earned her PhD in Medical Sciences in 2024. She has participated in over 20 international clinical trials in pulmonology, oncology, and pulmonary hypertension, and has authored numerous scientific papers on obstructive sleep apnea and hormonal disturbances.
