Biography
Dr. Anca-Georgia Jäger is a committed pulmonologist and somnology expert with clinical and research experience focused on sleep-disordered breathing, chronic respiratory diseases, and the gut-lung axis. She currently practises at Centrul Medical Diacord in Baia Mare, where she also serves as Principal Investigator in clinical trials focused on pulmonology. Her professional background includes clinical roles at the "Dr. Nicolae Rusdea" Clinical Hospital and the "Leon Daniello" Pneumology Clinical Hospital. She holds complementary certifications in sleep medicine and general ultrasound, organised the first edition of a multidisciplinary conference on Sleep Apnea Syndrome in her region, and has been Principal Investigator in five clinical studies. She is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the European Respiratory Society, and EAACI.
