Dr. Teodora Iacob is a consultant in infectious diseases and a dedicated academic, with a deep commitment to the clinical management of infections and public health education. She is currently a consultant at the Clinical Hospital for Infectious Diseases in Cluj-Napoca and a lecturer at the Cluj School of Public Health, Babeș-Bolyai University.

With a strong academic background, Dr. Iacob previously served as an assistant professor at the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, where she taught infectious diseases and medical semiology. She has also worked extensively in clinical settings since her residency in 2009, combining hands-on expertise with teaching excellence.

Her professional development includes international training in sepsis, antimicrobial therapy, and teaching strategies, with certifications from institutions like the University of Brighton and ESCMID-accredited programs. Her clinical interests include antibiotic stewardship, severe infections, and the integration of infectious disease expertise into multidisciplinary care.
