Sebastian Majewski

Dr. Sebastian Majewski is a dedicated pulmonologist and academic, serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Pneumology at the Medical University of Lodz, Poland. His clinical and research focus is centered on interstitial lung diseases, particularly idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), where he has contributed significantly to both real-world studies and academic reviews.

He has co-authored numerous publications on topics such as antifibrotic therapies, environmental risk factors for IPF, and comorbidity management, including the well-cited PolExPIR study on pirfenidone use in Poland. His work also explores patient well-being and the integration of supportive care in chronic pulmonary conditions.

In addition to his clinical and research roles, Dr. Majewski is actively involved in medical education and mentoring at the university level and collaborates on national and international respiratory research initiatives.
