Roxana Nemeș

Prof. Dr. Roxana Maria Nemeș is a highly respected pulmonologist, researcher, and educator, specializing in respiratory physiology, pediatric pulmonology, and pulmonary rehabilitation. She is a Professor at Titu Maiorescu University, Bucharest, and Head of the Physiopathology Department, where she has been shaping medical education since 2016.

With an extensive career in pulmonology, Prof. Nemeș has served as President of the Romanian Society of Pulmonology (2020-2024) and has been a scientific researcher at the Marius Nasta Institute of Pulmonology since 2000. Her expertise spans functional respiratory investigations, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and chronic lung disease management.

She has completed specialized training across Europe and the U.S., including observerships at Omaha Children’s Hospital (USA) and European Respiratory Society (ERS) courses on pulmonary rehabilitation, spirometry, and respiratory physiology.

At Breathe 2025, Prof. Nemeș will share insights into the latest advancements in pulmonary function testing and lung disease management, offering a unique perspective on respiratory care.
