Prof. Dr. Răzvan Cherecheș is a leading public health expert, researcher, and educator, specializing in health innovation, policy development, and healthcare management. He is the Director of HIVE – Health Innovation Center at Babeș-Bolyai University, where he drives cutting-edge research and solutions in healthcare.
As a Professor of Health Innovation at Babeș-Bolyai University, Prof. Cherecheș has played a key role in shaping public health strategies in Romania and beyond. His extensive experience includes serving as a Research Director at RoNEURO Institute, a member of the Advisory Board for Public Health & Healthcare Management at the Romanian Ministry of Health, and an expert evaluator for the European Commission.
With a strong background in clinical research, policy evaluation, and digital health transformation, he has led and participated in multiple high-impact projects. His international expertise includes fellowships at UC Berkeley and the University of Iowa.
