Dr. Vasiliki Georgakopoulou is a highly accomplished pulmonologist specializing in infectious diseases, sleep medicine, and pulmonary function testing. She graduated with distinction from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) Medical School in 2011 and obtained her Pulmonology-Tuberculosis specialty in 2019.

Since 2020, she has been a Consultant at the Infectious Diseases Unit of Laiko Hospital and the Department of Pathophysiology at NKUA. Holding the European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine, she also completed two Master’s degrees in Sleep Medicine and Infectious Diseases and is currently working on her PhD dissertation.

Dr. Georgakopoulou is an expert in pulmonary function testing, autoimmune and autoinflammatory lung diseases, hereditary angioedema, and transplant pulmonology. She has published over 180 studies in international journals and serves as a reviewer for BMJ, Respiratory Care, and Frontiers in Medicine.
