Dr. Marius Balint Gib is a highly experienced pulmonologist with clinical and academic expertise in sleep medicine, non-invasive ventilation, and respiratory rehabilitation. He currently serves as a Consultant Pulmonologist at SB Clinique in Timișoara, with a career that includes medical practice in France, Belgium, and Romania.

Dr. Balint Gib earned the title of “Sleep Expert” following certification by the European Sleep Research Society and holds a university diploma in respiratory rehabilitation from François Rabelais University in France. He is also a certified “Praticien Hospitalier” in France.

His scientific contributions include presentations and publications in areas such as central sleep apnea, CPAP and non-invasive ventilation, and comorbidities in OSA, as well as cross-border collaborations in respiratory care.

As Vice-President of APPEN (Association of Pulmonologists of Northern France) and President of the 9G Section of the Romanian Society of Pulmonology, he is an active advocate for medical education and international exchange.

At Breathe 2025, Dr. Balint Gib will present on the evolving role of non-invasive ventilation and the latest insights into sleep-disordered breathing, blending practical experience with innovation.
