Dr. Cristian Cojocaru is an associate professor and senior pulmonologist based in Iași, Romania. With over two decades of clinical and academic experience, he specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of respiratory diseases, with a particular interest in tuberculosis surveillance, non-invasive ventilation, bronchoscopy, and sleep medicine.
He holds a PhD in medical sciences from UMF Iași, where his research focused on epidemiological evaluation of tuberculosis using capture-recapture methodology. He is a long-time member of both the European and Romanian Respiratory Societies and has received advanced training in centers of excellence such as AKH Wien and the Cardiothoracic Centre in Liverpool.
Dr. Cojocaru is actively involved in international research and education programs and is a committed contributor to the development of modern respiratory care practices across Europe.
