Senior Pulmonologist @ Medicover Hospital, Cluj-Napoca
Dr. Loredana Elena Cardoș-Roșca is a highly experienced pulmonologist and educator, with extensive contributions to sleep medicine, non-invasive ventilation, and respiratory education in Romania and internationally. A graduate of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Hațieganu” Cluj-Napoca, she is currently a Consultant Pulmonologist at Medicover Hospital in Cluj County.
Certified in Level I and II Sleep Medicine and holding a European Competency in Sleep Medicine, Dr. Cardoș-Roșca has held multiple leadership and clinical roles, including nearly a decade of work at the “Leon Daniello” Pneumology Hospital. She has participated in high-profile programs at the University of Florida and the University of Iowa, and contributed to international projects on radon exposure, OSA, COPD, and respiratory ethics.
She has published over 20 peer-reviewed articles and contributed to numerous specialty book chapters on respiratory pathologies and sleep apnea. Dr. Cardoș-Roșca is also a member of the European Respiratory Society and the Romanian Society of Pulmonology, contributing actively to their non-invasive ventilation and sleep medicine sections.
At Breathe 2025, Dr. Cardoș-Roșca will present on Obesity-hypoventilation syndrome, sharing insights from both clinical research and hands-on experience.
