Prof. Dr. Alexandru Corlăteanu is a distinguished pulmonologist, researcher, and educator, specializing in COPD, asthma, and sleep medicine. He is the Head of the Pulmonology and Allergology Discipline at the Department of Internal Medicine, Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and serves as President of the Coalition for Respiratory Health in the Republic of Moldova.

With an extensive academic and research background, Dr. Corlăteanu is the author and co-author of over 100 scientific articles published in prestigious national and international medical journals. Additionally, he has contributed to 13 monographs and has presented groundbreaking research at numerous international conferences, focusing on chronic respiratory diseases, asthma, and sleep medicine.
